You prioritize it.,You invest in it.,You celebrate it., You sacrifice for it.\n\n\n\nPeople do not dishonor because they hate.\nOften they are dishonored because they do not recognize value.\n\n\n2 Corinthians 4:7\n\"Treasure in earthen vessels.\"\n\nWe see the vessel; God sees the treasure.\nHonor sees the grace; dishonor sees only the humanity.\n\n\n\nWhen you only see the man, you miss the grace on the man.\n\n\n\n\n\nHONOR IS A KINGDOM PRINCIPLE\nExodus 20:12 - \"Honor thy father and thy mother.\"\nThe first commandment with a promise. Not merely obedience. Honor.\nThe reason is that honor attracts blessings and dishonor blocks blessings.\n\nPrinciple\n\nWhere honor flows:\nFavor flows, grace flows, and Blessing flows\nin the story of David & Saul, Saul was wrong. Saul chased David. Saul wanted David dead.\nYet David said, \"I will not touch the Lord's anointed.\"\n\nHonor is not agreement. Honor is recognition of God's order.\n\n\n\nYou can disagree with authority without dishonoring authority. Some people say:\"I respect God but not pastors.\"\n\nHow do you honor the God you cannot see while dishonoring the servant He sent whom you can see?\n\n\n\n\n\nWHY SHOULD WE HONOR GOD'S SERVANTS?\n1. THEY FIGHT BATTLES WE DO NOT SEE\n\nWhile praying for your family, theirs may be under attack.\nWhile helping you through crisis, they may be fighting one.\nWhile encouraging you, they may need encouragement.\n\n\n\n\n\nWHY SHOULD WE GIVE TO GOD'S SERVANTS?\n\n1 Corinthians 9:11 \"If we have sown spiritual things...\"\n\nGalatians 6:6 Those taught the Word should share with those who teach.\n\nHonor that stays only in words is incomplete honor.\n\n\n\nHOW DO WE HONOR GOD'S SERVANTS?\n\nNumbers 12 - Miriam and Aaron against Moses. \n1. Reverence is not worship.\nReverence is recognizing divine assignment.\n\n\n\n2. Through Obedience - 3 John 4\n\"No greater joy...\" A pastor's greatest joy is seeing transformed lives.\n\nHonor is not saying \"Amen.\" Honor is practicing what is taught.\n\n\n3. Through Prayer Paul's Request \"Brethren, pray for us.\"\nHow many times have you asked pastor to pray for you?\nHow many times have you prayed for pastor?\n\n\n\nThose who carry many people need many prayers.\n\na ship engine tells you how many people the ship it can carry and also how fast and far it can go\n\n\n4.
